做功課才去poo poo

弟弟人仔細細已經很會說話。

做功課做了五分鐘，想去廁所。

他說：「我好想去poo poo,但係我係唔會去嘅，因為我要做功課。」

媽媽立即說：「傻豬，有poo poo就即刻去啦！」

他一支箭衝去廁所。

弟弟不直接說他很想去廁所，因為媽媽可能會駡他做功課才去poo poo,玩ipad時又不見他想去。現在媽媽則會覺得他很乖。

這是我Psychology101學的negotiation tactic,弟弟6歲就會了。

偷蛋龍的偷蛋比喻

昨晚哥哥挺著眼睏陪我們做麵包。麵包焗好後，我們用布蓋著麵包。爸爸笑說以免四腳蛇來光顧。

「那是不是像恐龍用葉子蓋著牠們的蛋，以免偷蛋龍來偷？」哥哥說。

他真的很有趣。

藉口

弟弟人仔細細就設計出一個無懈可擊的藉口，他一副嬉皮笑臉的樣子說：「媽咪呀，唔知點解，我個腦成日都想整到我曵曵㗎！」

小朋友，你真係認為曵係唔關你事？

DIY craft with kids

It's a trend of to do DIY craft honework with your children across schools in Hong Kong. You hear me right, DIY homework with your children, not with your parents,  now you see whose this homework is.

Anyway, it is still enjoying to do. This year, Linus and I made this DIY snow globe by a waste plastic container, a pine we picked up from the ground, and an old doll. 

We used glitters as snow. I used flour before, it then turned out not snowy, but foggy, I even suspect it was a smog!!!

辛苦晒！

哥哥考試，弟弟在家很閒。他要我跟他玩，但我真的沒有時間。

弟弟突然靈機一觸，話： 媽媽，我諗住落樓下clubhouse玩，因為我會玩得好大聲，如果留響屋企玩會嘈到你同哥哥溫書，我唔想嘈到你哋呀！

嘩， 真係辛苦晒！

Happy New Year

Hello everyone, wish you a joyful 2013!!

喂，細佬！

今天發生了一件匪夷所思的事。
下午，我帶著弟弟去屋苑門口接哥哥放學。頑皮的弟弟爬上路旁欄桿，半個身位突出馬路。
正當我喝止之際，有一住在屋苑的年輕人向著我們說：喂細佬唔好呀，你咁樣好危險㗎！ 同埋你會整污糟個pat pat囉！
我向著弟弟說：你聽唔唔聽到呀?成日都唔聽話。
年青人：佢成日都唔聽你話㗎？
我：er.....係呀。
年青人：點解呀？
我：er…..依個年紀反叛D掛。
年青人：佢幾多歲呀？
我：4歲半。
年青人：哦.....（向住弟弟）喂你唔好整D花花呀，你知嗎？花同我哋，同埋D魚一樣，都係有感覺，會覺得痛㗎！
原來弟弟覺得很尷尬，躲到我身後，摸了路旁的小菊花。這時，弟弟比之前更尷尬，頭也不敢抬。
我：咁佢以後再曳，你可唔可以幫我教佢？
年青人：可以呀。喂細佬你要聽話呀吓！
匪夷所思的是，這位年輕人其實是一位5歲半的男孩，老積程度我前所未見。

弟弟金句

深情的弟弟：（苦惱狀）媽咪呀。。
媽咪：親愛的，怎麼了？
深情的弟弟：我真的不知道Marianna為甚麼會喜歡我。。。（Marianna是他喜歡的女孩）
媽咪：。。。。。真係少年維特的煩惱。。。

恐怖的弟弟：媽咪呀。。
媽咪：親愛的，怎麼了？
恐怖的弟弟：我喉龍不舒服，想吃畫皮膏。
媽咪：萬聖節還未到，不要那麼恐怖，你應該是想吃枇杷膏，對嗎？

My family

In the lesson of 'My Family', a teacher was asking her K2 class what their daddy would do at home. Some children said 'my dad reads book for me', 'my daddy snores', 'he reads newspaper', etc. Then there was a boy called Linus, raised up his hand, told everyone loudly that his dad kisses mommy at home.
Embarrassing...

The two Mr. Yuen Juniors were modelling last evening

My cousin asked my kids to help on a photo-shooting last evening for a product catalogue, with two more children from her friends.

My boys are the eldest among four, but they were the most uncooperative pairs.  They lied and 'swam' breaststroke on the floor, were being hyperactive, fighting with each other, bumping here and there.  In one word, uncontrollable.

If you look at the four models, you can tell obviously who were the barbarians.

Fortunately Lucas and Linus cooperated at last and the photographer could take several pictures for them.  They stayed quiet by the end because they were just too busy to eat up all eligible props.

What a funny experience!

洗澡

替弟弟洗澡後，用了一條又大又鬆軟的粉紅色毛巾包著他。我們擁在一起嘻哈大笑。突然發現，我跟他相識了不夠四年，為何我會這樣愛他？

A heartthrob to be

Linus is 3 years old and he is going to attend a 'formal' K1 in coming academic year.  Actually he spent last six months in the kindergarten but it was not a formal education, we sent him to there as he requested and the teachers treated him still as a baby.


He is getting mature these few months, he gradually transforms from an unreasonable little monster to a sweet heart, despite that he still screams and whines and snatches brother's toys on and off.


Whenever he wakes up earlier than me, he will crawl into my bedroom, then send me the plastic flower which is on the vase next to me.


Last time I got several mosquito bites, Linus rushed to get the soothing cream in 0.0001 second, and announced to the everyone in the flat that his mommy got mosquito bites, in as-a-matter-of-fact attitude.


When I am upset, he will come to me and kiss my face.


Linus, I am sure you will transforms from an adorable baby to a heartthrob in 15 years.

爛gag王

昨天我帶著兩位公子到Pacific Coffee°哥哥發現他愛喝的Appletizer售清,顯得非常失望°
哥哥建議到Starbucks看看,我告訴他我剛剛才到過那兒,看不見Appletizer,他看起來更失望° 幸好他很快便接受了另一款我極力地推介的Sparkling Lemonade°

那時我已經滿頭大汗°剛找了位坐好,弟弟突然鬧情緒,說:「我要搭Starbucks!」

「Huh?甚麼去Starbucks呀?我們現在在Pacific Coffee呀!」我說°

「我要搭Starbucks呀!」他說°

「甚麼叫搭Starbucks呀!」我問°

「我想搭Starbucks返屋企!!」弟弟努力地解釋,我才明白他說甚麼°

我答:「Starbucks不是Bus, 是Cafe呀傻B°」

哥哥:「哈哈哈哈哈!弟弟以為Starbucks係巴士!哈哈哈哈哈!」

我責備哥哥:「不准笑,弟弟係BB,所以弄錯了!」我自己卻忍不住笑.....

Halloween costume ideas

There is one month to Halloween, I don't know why I like this festival so much and am anticipating it.


Yesterday, I asked the boys what they would like to dress up during that day.  Lucas told me he wanted to dress like the pilot of Betsy, a retired plane of Cathay Pacific Airways.  When I asked what Linus would like to be, he said......
"Ballerina"!!

Bagel cars??

Guess what, Linus calls cable cars BAGEL CARS!!  We try to correct him but he insists he is not wrong.


He just loves food so much!!

Lovely flowers

One day, Linus walked pass some fake flower pots at the corner of a street, he pointed and said, 'Mommy, fa fa are beautiful!'


I feel happier than he told me he could speak four languages at two years old, or had earned a big fortune from whatever talents he acquired (well, these are the wishes of many Hong Kong parents).  Hey! My kid knows how to appreciate the beauty of life (even though the flowers were fake), isn't it worth to celebrate and be proud of?

Linus is a diplomat

Linus always knows his attractiveness.  When he wants to get something, he would show people his loveliest look.

This morning he wanted to have a bottle of milk, he ran to our helper, put his hands under his chubby cheeks, blinked his eyes, tilted his head a bit when asking for the milk in his sweetest tone.

How can you resist a baby like this?
