Did I tell you my taste changing dramatically during this pregnancy?

I love spicy food suddenly, this is what I seldom touched before...

My most favourite soup is spicy and sour soup, a very popular soup in Northern China.

Most of my friend bet that I will have a baby girl this time, then, logically, my new baby will be a spice girl.

Well, nowadays girls have to be a bit spicy to survive in this brutal world. A little bit is okay, too much will become bitchy. Although most successful women especially in career place are extremely bitchy, I still believe being a gentle and wise lady is smarter.

Energizer Bunny

Didn't know where the strength came from, last Sunday we went to many places with Lucas in one day. Here is our route:

10:40am From home to Shatin for my violin lesson
12:00noon From Shatin to Victoria Peak, to experience the polluted air in this most crowded Causeway Bay
2:00pm Lunch in a CWB local noodle food stall, yummy.
3:00pm From CWB to Cyberport, left a high density place to a low density place.
6:00pm From Cyberport to Pacific Place, Admiralty for dinner
8:15pm From Admiralty back home

Lucas was maintaining in natural high status for the whole day, until 11:30pm that night, with the new toy bus we bought for him that day.

小小的改變

今夜我跟謝菲談天時，回想起我成為朗朗媽媽的一個小改變，就是不再常做惡夢。

謝菲更跟我說，我現在的甜夢很多是有關朗朗，不過惡夢仍然大多圍繞工作。

他如何知道？從我的夢囈得知......在夢中我曾經很温柔喚著朗朗，又試過惡形惡相地解釋report不能從做的原因。

相信Sigmund Freud的信徒可以為我作大量心理分析。

What I want to do today?

What I wanna do in office are:

1. Sleeping
2. Sneaking back home
3. Throw up the Korean lunch set I bought back and ate alone inside my 1m x 1m cubicle.

Poorly, all three things cannot be done before I stepped my feet in home. What I vomited in office toilet is just air.

Interesting!!! A really great highlight on Monday.

Spending a whole night with Lucas

Last night Lucas rushed to our room after his late night milk. Jeff carried him onto our bed and asked whether he wanted to stay with us.

Then this little baby lied down immediately between us.

We brought him his little pillow, cushions and blanket, then he slept quietly with us... until 2 something in the midnight.

Then he crawled between us restlessly, kept changing positions and poses the whole night.

We couldn't sleep thoroughly, but when I looked at this little angel sleeping carefree and peacefully, I smiled gently and kissed his chubby little cheek.

Morning Sickness at night

Last night, I had no appetite for a proper dinner, I had just swallowed 3/4 of a hamburger, and a bunch of french fries.

Then I threw up half of the french fries afterward.

Then I felt extremely thirsty during sleep, and also woke up to have bathroom visit for several time. Not to mention some nightmares came as a package.

A headache since last evening still accompanies me today. Thanks morning sickness, you 'brighten' my life.

Ahhhhhhhh.....

Fatigue

Thanks Jeff for sending this announcement.

Frankly, these first few week is pretty suffering. I experience morning sickness (a misleading term, because the sickness can happen any moment, like what in my case right now), nausea and sore bones.

I guess I had lost several pounds, thanks to the pregnancy in these weeks.

Every morning, I want someone sticks me on the bed then I can call my office that I cannot go for work for this reason.

At one moment, I am starving, but in the next moment, I feel full and want to throw up.

Yawning is the most frequent action I take everyday, apart from breathing.

Usually, all these symptoms will only exist in the first 12 weeks for pregnancy, I am in the 9th week, still have 3 weeks to go.....

Frankly, I do not even have strength to take bath, not to mention to do all those reporting, presentation and analyzing data? Even myself is skeptical about my work quality, in such condition.

Gosh, Jelly just informed we have a new project for several countries, thanks God!!!!!

Matrix Reloaded

Happy moment with Lucas

Every morning, Lucas wakes up around 8 something, I let him sit on my laps, and shares my breakfast when I groom up myself in front of the beauty parlor.

He then eats a piece of bread with satisfaction, with a light grin across his chubby face, playing the stuff on my desk, then watching the news on TV, and smiles to those pretty anchors because he thinks the girls are talking to him.

This is the happy moment for me every morning. The drive for me to face everyday challenge.

Doddle Pro - Lucas's new favourite

Now Lucas loves playing Doodle Pro, he always writes and draws in his special ways.

Thanks God he also loves reading, I am sure this will make his life more interesting.

When he is tried after reading or drawing, he likes to lie on your laps or belly for sleeping. Very sweet.

Tin Tin has gone

Lucas is the happiest one.

I think this decision is fair to Lucas also.

Jealous

I guess Lucas does not hang along with Tin Tin well.

Lucas became very moody tonight because he saw I played with Tin Tin and trained him to sit down.

He kept staring at me for quite a long time, but when my eyes reached him, he yelled loudly.

And when he saw we scolded the dog because it chewed fruit shell and seed, his face showed a cunning broad smile.

I think I should not attach myself too much to the puppy. We have so many family members to be close friends with Tin Tin.

We then rushed back to our room and announced to Lucas that it is the mommy-baby exclusive session, no puppy is allowed.

Disneyland Visit

Imagine we went to Disneyland under the fierce sun on July 13-14, three times - July13 morning, July 13 evening, and July 14 afternoon.

Actually we stayed in Disnelyland Hollywood hotel overnight, and we had the unlimited access pass in those two days.

Okay, it is lucky all of us remained in solid form under too much of sunshine exposure, Lucas also got sun-tanned after the two days.

After all, this is still a nice 'trip', Lucas is the happiest person among us, he ate the most (in proportion, of course), sweated the most and ran the most.

But he did not like the water-splasking parade much.

Tip toes

Guess what is the latest game Lucas likes to play? TIP TOES

He has such a pair of strong legs, he always squats and stands up suddenly and walks with tip toes. His little technique is - try to extend all the toes as wide as possible, thanks to those long toes inherited from his mom.

Lucas, you are just one year old

BB, you are just one year old, you don't have to look like a model, with those Calvin Kieln's models' eyes, staring at the camera in this way.

帶著三個小孩的一天

其實我倆已有帶著三個小孩上街的經驗，但今天仍有點吃力。幸好有我家及菲傭姐姐幫忙，而且跟這麼多小朋友一起是很愉快的事。

今天，我們一行九人到Pizza Hut吃飯，包括我爸媽妹，謝菲，麗斯，以及三位可愛小孩─朗朗，樂樂及晴晴。旁邊的人也向我們投以奇怪或好奇的目光，有幾位師奶的眼神更像說：嘩生那麼多幹嗎？不用說，全世界也以為這三個人仔是由我及謝菲所出。

吃飯時他們尚算安靜。朗朗很簡單，只要有得吃，又可以拿著匙餵自己，已經很滿足。

飯後到了我爸媽家。很女孩子的晴晴對我妹的護膚品及手飾很有興趣，幾瓶潤膚露也可令她樂上半天。朗朗則到處跑。樂樂就畫畫，他畫了一幅商場畫，內有糖果店、日本城、黃埔商場、德福商場、沙田新城市廣場、蠟燭店、保鈴球場等。

之後我們到咖啡店High tea，朗朗不想呆坐，在咖啡店內外到處碰。幸好妹妹幫手追著小馬騮，不然我這副雖然不太老的骨頭也會散。

五時多我們便回家，朗朗在車上睡著，現在已七時，他仍在睡。

Lucas babbles

Lucas picks up lots of single words and sounds in these few weeks, such as:

• A (this is the first word he speaks when he sees any text, including Chinese)
• C or Si
• Shoe
• zi (purple in Mandarin, learnt from a picture card)
• S (well... or ass... surely this is not a good moment to teach him hole)
• Boo Boo (we don't know what it means, but sometimes he says this when pointing to a ball)

Dragon Boat Festival

Lucas and we went to Shatin Shing Mun River bank to see dragon boat competition yesterday. However, he was not very interested because the weather was quite hot and not comfortable.

See the little cute hat Lucas was wearing? Actually he is very repulsive to wear anythings on his head, including this one. When we put it on, he took it off, we had done this put-on-take-off 'game' for 10 times, he only gave up when I held his hand and explained to him why he should wear a hat...And then after 15 minutes, he pulled it up and threw on the ground finally.
