The upper one is Lucas in his first month, the bottom one is Linus. I took this picture this morning. I think even I cannot distinguish which picture is from who when I get older.

Little Einstein's temptation

I am now sitting in front of the desktop, two browsers are showing, one is this blogger, another one is Little Einstein's website.

Lucas is sitting on my laps, he loves to attach me every minute. He always says 'Little Einstein', either pointing to the TV or walking to the computers.

I don't let him watch too much TV, but I have no choice when I am using computer, to let him stick with me, and find something to entertain him. Frankly, I am totally bored to the website because this morning is the thousandth time browsing there, but Lucas is still very enthusiastic to it.

Lucas loves Miffy when he was very young, then Noddy, now he is so sophisticated and chooses to be Little Einstein's fan. It is interesting that he is humming those famous classical music when he is happy.

Er... Q3 boy again sometimes

Well.... Linus sometimes cries for milk at the third hour after the last feeding. Don't worry, it doesn't mean he drinks lesser, instead, the amount of milk reaches 4 oz. (110ml) per feeding. We are a bit shocked. His appetite is actually more than a full term baby now.

This baby always surprises people.

Lucas enjoys an English play group

Lucas attended his first English play group this afternoon, which organized in the club house of our estate.

The teacher is a Caucasian young girl, there are three other kids in the class.

Lucas did not feel comfortable in the first song singing session, but he loves the book reading session a lot. The teacher taught all about colours, Lucas could speak all colour names in the little book and everyone praised him, he was the best in the class and the teacher gave him that book as a gift (but it was collected after the class).

After that, Lucas becomes more confident and open to others. He even waved bye-bye to two complete strangers who just passed by, when we walked back home.

Encouragement is a key driver of learning for children.

Q4 Boy

Linus was a Q3 boy in hospital - His feeding time is in every 3 hours. Most other full term babies are instead Q4 babies, their feeding time is in every 4 hours because they are bigger and with better sucking ability.

Today, Linus becomes a Q4 boy, because he can drink 90ml (more than 3 oz.) in every feeding. Great!!! That means he is growing very well, and at the same time, he is glowing. You can see his video as below!!

Linus is doing well

Linus came back home more than one week. He is in good shape, with good appetite, and now reached 2.6kg.

This morning I discovered he had a little double chin!!

Lucas loves singing

Lucas loves to sing when he is happy. He used to sing ABC song, but recently, I find that he sings 'I swear'...

His voice is so tender when singing this song. Even though 'I swear' are the only two words of the whole song he knows how to pronounce, I am very impressed, this is one of my favourite golden oldies.

It reminded me that his cousin Isaac loved to sing 'That's why you go away' when he was 4 years old. He could sing the first two sentences - "Baby won't you tell me why, that's a sadness in your eyes..."

Kids are cute!!

I have two babies

Suddenly I have a weird feeling, I just can't believe I have two babies now. Life is a miracle, but for me, they are more than miracles. Even though we experienced all those hindrances in pregnancy and child birth, I know that God love me a lot, he sent me two precious little things.

Linus is gaining weight. He is 2.6kg now, and performs well in milk-drinking, since we have switched the teats from Pigeon to NUK. My milk production is excellent, everyday is a good harvest day. You see? The whole system operates in perfect harmony.

See these two young men in the pictures, I am wondering how they look like when they are 20. I will be no longer young, but hope that I still look fab effortlessly with good composure and great fashion sense, and they will be proud of their mother. ;)

Linus's 12th day - Getting heavier

The doc told us Linus can come back home tomorrow. Hurray!!!

Our room had been transformed in a perfect nursery room. The crib and all baby stuff are ready. Jeff had set a heater and a humidifier to control the room temperature and humidity. We had also selected the outfits for him. Everything will be fine tomorrow. Jeff joked that he will bring along his camera and all lighting equipments also, he will take loads of photos when baby is discharged.

Linus finished 80 ml milk in one feeding this morning, when I fed him in hospital. He surprised nurses because he can only have 60 ml/ feeding in last few days. A nurse said he is a good baby when I am present.

I am proud of you Linus.

Linus's 11th day - Getting heavier

I feel quite exhausted but insist to go hospital twice. Linus can come back home soon, so I should try to feed him more, under the guidance from nurses.

He is a good kid, could finish the whole bottle both times.

Linus's 10th day - I can feed him again

What a good progress Linus achieved. Today I could bottle-feed him by myself, he could finish 60ml.

This evening, when we were going to hospital with Lucas, the damn traffic jam trapped us on the road for an hour. Luckily nurses allowed us to see Linus even we missed the 'visit time'. This was the first time the two brothers met. Lucas stared at Linus from the window, and kept saying 'Dei Dei'. Seems he likes his little brother.

Linus's 9th day - Left the incubator

Well done Linus, he could stay with other baby in the nursery room in the 9th night. Yes he is still tiny, but you can see he is getting well-built.

Baby-mo

I hate reading those Hong Kong pregnancy or parenting magazines. They just drive me crazy, the content is usually about abnormality during pregnancy or diseases threatening children, or how to cultivate a little genius in order to enter elite schools. Come on, give me a break.

What a surprise that there is an exception in the market - Baby-mo. It is a Japanese parenting magazine but the translated and tailor-made version is available in Hong Kong. All topics are interesting in Feb vol., such as DIY hairdo for babies, 10 mins recipe, etiquette for family visits during Chinese New Year, etc. Not to mention that all baby models are adorable!!

Highly recommend to all mothers.

Lucas and his most favourite cartoon - Little Einsteins

Lucas is an artistic baby. He loves drawing, reading, music and Little Einsteins.

It is a series from Disney and the Baby Einstein Company launched for preschoolers. 4 little kids - Leo, Qincy, June and Annie travels over the world (and the universe) with a little rocket. All journeys filled with classical music from Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, etc, is a fantastic educational tool.

I was surprised when Lucas said the word 'allegro', after Qincy said so, and he is excited when seeing all those music notes.

Linus's 8th day - No need additional oxygen supply

Linus performs great, he doesn't need extra oxygen supply in the afternoon, his breathing is steady.
Still in a incubator, should be observed for several more days.

Linus's 7th day - baby in incubator

Linus's still in a incubator, with oxygen supply. Everything is on a right track.

Linus's 6th day - baby in incubator

No weight loss today, is also stable. Linus, work hard.

He is getting stable, all tests are fine, no infection so far. He can drink 50ml per feeding, weight 2.15kg.

They look alike

Lucas and Linus look like each others. Both have parents' distinctive features (=P).

The picture at the left hand side is Lucas in his day 1, his skin tone is fairer. Linus is at the right hand side, he is a bit darker, but nurses told me probably it is because he is premature and blood vessels underneath the skin are very obvious.

I am so proud because I have two handsome sons!

Linu's 4th day - baby in incubator

Linus's experienced some ups and downs starting from 3rd day midnight, he had been sent back to a incubator for extra caring. Thanks god he is stable again inside the box.

I have delivered him some breast milk in the morning and also night time. The nurses suggested me to touch him and talked to him while standing outside the incubator.

Surely we worried but have strong confidence on him. He is a tough baby, I am sure!

Linus, I will come again tomorrow. I am learning baby massage, I am sure you will love it.

Linus's 3rd day - Mammy will wait for you at home

I couldn't hold back my tears when I discharged from the hospital, leaving Linus there for a few more days, hopefully.

The nurse was very very nice and allowed me to take photos of him before I left.

小B起32周搶閘出世(5:10pm),唔做老鼠仔,要做豬仔. 重2.26kg.

Somersault

Guess what, the little baby in my tummy is very active. My doc told me he turned himself upside down early in the 28th week, but now he had just done another somersault and returned to his original position in the 31st week.

We can only confirm whether he can settle in upside down position 2 weeks later.

My doc noticed that I gained 2.4kg within 3 weeks. The growth rate reached the margin, she asked me not to eat too much sweet and carbohydrate.

I am very determinate and decide to control my weight immediately. Tonight, I didn't eat any snack as usual after dinner, and I had 30 minutes prenatal yoga. This is my mission in the remaining 8 weeks.

Muscle sore and night leg cramps

My tummy size is increasing. My body is heavier and my legs can't support very well, every night I have muscle sore and leg cramps. I couldn't sleep well in the past few days. I was almost awake in Friday night.

We will have a check-up again tomorrow afternoon, should discuss with my doc about the C-section arrangement. I should confirm with my bosses when and how long of my maternity leave will be within this week.

Amazing memories

Thanks Jeff, Mui Mui and cousin for giving me such a happy afternoon last Sunday. Without your help, I cannot have such a nice 'pregnancy album'!!

Little baby, thanks for keeping me in such as nice shape even in my third trimester. I am a lucky expecting mom.

Week 30

I am in the 30th week of pregnancy. Little baby seems turned himself upside down already, because I can feel his legs in my upper tummy, kicks me sometimes right under my rib cage.

I remember when Lucas was inside me, he loved to kick my rib cage in the 8-9 months, sometimes even caused me pain. My doc said it was normal.

The feeling is funny when you have a little creature crawling inside your body!!

Sound Sleep

Thanks god, we all had good sleep last night!!!

Don't underestimate baby's adaptability.

Super nanny is back

Finally our super nanny, Ah Sa is back. I did worry she wouldn't come back.

We preempted Lucas about Ah Sa's return in these two days. When he met her, he was a bit shy but could not hide his pleasure. Ah Sa carried him immediately and Lucas did not struggle. He remembered and missed her a lot.

Tonight, we resume out late night life - checking emails and web surfing with light switch on!!

Exhaustive work - full time mom

20 minutes to 2008, I am now on bed, typing this entry with my handy notebook.

We cannot join any count down party, how can you sneak to Time Square and leaving your 1 1/2 old baby alone in his crib? However, I enjoy this cozy moment with my little family much more than with a bunch of gorgeous people in any party.

Jeff and I are being full time parents more than one week, we cannot describe how psychically exhausted we are. I really appreciate all those moms and dads who devote their time totally to babies. This is really a 24x7 work, you cannot take a 3 minutes nap or coffee break simply because you are tired. It is because, kids are most demanding bosses in the world.

However, a little smile on Lucas's face can melt our heart immediately and we will never refuse his need of our attention.

I am at 29th week of pregnancy. I do not know where is the fear of premature delivery come from, I always worry little baby will come out anytime. Last night I felt some pain and my womb seems to contract quite heavily. I was scared but I was really too tired to`feel scared. I decided not to wake up and everything would be fine. Thanks god nothing strange happens today.

Yuen's family had a very Merry Christmas!!!

We just had many celebrations in the past few days:

Dec 23 - X'mas party in Tin's home. Lucas was very shy, but Jeff said it's normal, he was also a bit scared by a houseful of girls that night. He wondered why we have so many girls in our company. We all have this same question actually.

Dec 24 - Opened souvenirs from USA, bought by grandparents. BBQ with friends at home place. Lucas was also shy, as usual.

Dec 25 - Beach time at Gold Coast, not Australia, but Tuen Mun. Then had a Christmas Dinner in Element shopping mall.

Dec 26 - A nice afternoon at Lion Nature Education Centre, Sai Kung, followed up with a delicious seafood dinner.

Dec 27 - Picnic at Tai Po Park, we brought Isaac and Ching with us. The theme of this picnic is Healthy Food. We had juice, chocolate milk, raisins, crackers and bread. Issac had no interest in all these.

What a busy holiday, we still have more than a week of holiday ahead!!!!

Mamei

Lucas is calling me 'Mamei' a lot these few days.

He called me 'Ma' or 'Mama' before but not always, because in Cantonese, Grandma also sounds 'Mama' but in lower tone, which confused him. When he called me 'Mama', Grandma would misunderstand it and said 'Long Long, you call me a lot, you are a nice baby.'

Therefore, he chose not to say 'Mama' to me much, and replaced my title by 'Ah', 'Yee' etc.

Now Lucas knows how to pronounce 'Mamei' and understands it is exclusive to me. He speaks it confidently and loudly.

My heart melts down everytime when he says 'Mamei' in his sweet voice.

Before I become a mom, I couldn't imagine someone will call me Mom one day. I always felt it is so remoted to me, and this word associates with the image of typical moms who are not so cool. However, 'Mom' emerges as the most important word in my vocabulary now.

Life changes totally once you become a parent.

A little reader of The Economist

When Lucas is having a bathroom visit, he loves reading The Economist to kill time.

My unborn baby is growing in a steady speed. Luckily I still look neat in my 6.5 months pregnancy.

This restless baby kicks me always, especially in the mid night, and the strength is not small, sometimes surprises me a little.

The pregnancy this time is not as easy as the previous one... difficult 1st trimester, then the shock of CPC and kidney dilation (thanks god it is getter better), then the serious vomit, and finally the broken vessels in left eye... and actually I felt down three time in the past half year, once at the staircases at home, then in MTR station, and on last Saturday, in a shopping mall.

I think I am lucky that all these 'incidents' won't cause any big hurt to me and my baby actually.

Lack of Maternity Beds at Crisis Point (from SCMP)

A news from SCMP today shakes all local expecting mothers' legs. A mother in the 2nd trimester was informed she lost the booking of maternity bed in Adventist Hospital, despite the reservation had already made.

Many private doctors and pregnant women complaint that the influx of mainland mothers occupy local private hospital service and reached the level of compromising local residents' benefit.

I've made the reservation but now I have a little worry about the situation in March next year. Honestly, resources are really scared. Even I am guaranteed to have a shelter after birth, but can the facilities support the flood of demand?

Pregnancy alone brings lot of worries, please do not add one more in our list. Please!!!

Do you want your kid be a boss or working bee?

Had read an article in current Time Asia. Nowadays parents have extremely high expectation on their kid and greatly concern about the pre-school education. There are lots of super-intensive language and maths training for children even starting from 3 years old.

Many parents and educational experts believe the early trainings ensure their academic success in the future.

However, some researchers discovered that these can-food study courses will bring negative impact, especially for those younger than 3 years old. Their creativity would be spoiled.

Then the article raised a question 'Do you want your kid be a boss or working bee?'

Good signs

Hi Little one in my tummy,

Dad and me went for check up last Friday, your brother also came along. In the ultrasound scanning, we cannot see the cyst inside your brain anymore, and the doc told us your kidneys are getting smaller. We are so happy for you, you must be a very smart baby.

When Lucas looked at your ultrasound scanning in the monitor, he sat on Daddy's laps, speechlessly, he was stunned by the images, but I am sure he knew it was you .

I think you will love him a lot, he is also a good kid, you two will be good friends!!!!!

Happy 1.5 year Birthday Lucas and happy 6-month pregnancy

Hi Lucas, do you love the two mini bus toys I bought you last night? I am so impressed that you shared one with me when playing them at night. You are a very good and considerate kid.

And Little one in my tummy, do you know I have already carried you for 6-months? How do you feel? Should be very comfortable. Mommy heard that many babies cry a lot in their first 3 months after born because they miss the security feeling inside mommy's tummy so much.

I will have a roomful for boys soon - two little angels and one big kidult. Wow...

Cutie Pie Lucas

Lucas is almost 1.5 year old, he is always a cutie pie and I miss him always, even I am just 10 footsteps apart from him.

He picks up many vocabularies in these few months. We are searching for play group for him, we believe he would love singing songs and dancing with other kids.

Sometimes, he shakes his hip when there is music, even those ad songs from TV.

Little brother will come out in less than 4 months. Hope they will stay along well. =)

One day Jeff asked me how to distribute my love to all three handsome boys (the two baby and himself). I told him I will try to issue more. (similar to money supply and money demand theory)!!

Creativity

Look at this. Lucas is holding the silver bracelet of Auntie. He opens it up and saying 'Don-do' (Donald) loudly - He associates this funny shape to 'M', and for him, 'M' equals to 'McDonald', and 'Don-do' is 'McDonald' in his current language.

When he closes the bracelet, he tells us it is 'sum' - a heart shape.

Baby Traveller

Cece, Grace's baby is very lucky, her parents had already travelled with him in several European countries in his first few months (they live in Italy).

We are much more conservative and Jeff always believes we can have oversea trip with Lucas only when he reaches 2. Now, another baby boy is coming, our planning should be further postponed.

Okay, save more money in these few years first...

Lovely weather!!

We are stepping into the Fall and Winter, the weather is nice here.

We just had a wonderful weekends - Tai Po Park & Halloween Party on Saturday, the Peak & my mom's home on Sunday. I got enough exercise, and it should be good for my baby in tummy also.

Lucas was very cheerful especially when he was on a high chair and having meal with us. He shaked his legs all the time.

BTW, Lucas looked so handsome in the Wizard (actually it was Witch) costume.

We get a good news finally

Since our doc found a chyroid plexus cyst (CPC) and kidney dilation of our unborn baby, we were anxious and worrying. Luckily we got the result of amniocentesis this evening, Chromosome T13, 18 and 21 of baby are normal. That means most likely these two soft markers will be resolved in the coming 4-8 weeks.

This is really a challenge for me!! To wait for a critical result in 5 days. I still remember the feeling of doing amniocentesis. It was not painful at all, but was just scary, came along with the soberness after receiving such a shocking news.

Jeff always told me baby is very strong and is a smart kid, I will take more care of myself.

Waiting...

What we're waiting for, is just one phone call. It will come anytime in these few days. Ahhhhhhhh....

Hope I can get the result soon. Waiting is not a good feeling, sometimes.

Little baby, work hard, mama will give you strength, and nutrients, please get as much as you want.

He's a boy!

昨晚睡得很差，今天老早便醒來，心有點兒緊張。

今天要作詳細的超聲波檢查，很大機會知道肚中BB是龍或是鳳。

BB也像在緊張，整晚也在動。

Having Fun in Ocean Park

Last Saturday we went to Ocean Park with Lucas. It was his second visit of the amusement park. His first time was in his 6 months. In the last trip, he still looked like a 'rice ball' and didn't understand what we were doing.

Surely he is no longer a 'rice ball' now. He was so excited and waved to many people walked by. He loves pandas a lot and we bought him a mini panda stuff toy.

Are you a boy or a girl

Dear little BB,

Are you a boy or a girl? Mama had the check up last week but you refused to show us your gender.

People around us wanna know it desperately. Daddy said you looks like a boy, but I think you are a girl, because you are more gentle than Lucas when he was in my tummy.

Anyway, no matter you are a boy or a girl, I only wish you are happy and healthy.

Diarrhea and vomiting

Lucas was suffering from Diarrhea and vomiting last weekend. We worried about him so much. Luckily he is getting well now.

Diarrhea and vomiting cause dehydration and it could be dangerous to babies. When he threw up suddenly on Saturday night after the congee dinner, Jeff and I had the same thought immediately - rush to the clinic ASAP. We made the reservation in our nearest clinic moved in 5 minutes. It is just great to have a partner who thinks the same direction as yours.

Things got smooth, the medicine stopped vomiting and healing the diarrhea bit by bit.

We missed my colleague's wedding banquet last night, I felt sorry about that but I think Lucas needed us more. He was so moody and was even screaming when he saw some raisins in a piece of bread. (He loves raisins a lot in the normal days).

He lost around one pound over last two days but we believe he will gain back the losing stones asap.

Scanner

It happened last time, and it happens again.

Since my belly is expanding but not big enough to look like an expecting mother, I get bored about how people look at me in MTR and KCR.

They just stare at my belly than 'scan' me from head to toes by eyes, but they wouldn't move their ass out of the seats, or just rush to occupy a seat that in front of me, with their eyes still on my belly.

I do want to scream to them, or simply take their eyeballs out. It is absolutely fine for not offering me a seat, but please move their eyes off me, can they??

He really knows

Today when I asked Lucas where the new baby is, he ran to me and touched my belly!!

Me and Jeff stunned. I covered my eyes by my hands because it is so touching, I could not help to cry.

人月兩團圓

昨晚中秋夜，本來我們相約了謝菲的大學同學到來燒烤，可惜天氣不穩，最後要取消了。這樣讓我們一家三口渡過一個寧靜温馨的中秋節。

我們在家吃火煱，BB很愛吃魚蛋及粟米。飯後我們到公園湊熱鬧，BB提著燈籠，不久就倦了。回到家時己睡在我的懷中。

朗朗愛玩煮飯仔，尤其是在吃飯的時候，愛Mix & Match不同的食物。

有見及此，我們買了一套煮飯仔給他。

SIDE KICK

The little creature inside my tummy starts to practise its side kick. I can feel the tiny and funny movements under my skin.

I feel very dizzy today and have serious headache, I think I do not have enough energy, I should eat more and resume the prenatal yoga practice.

The mid autumn festival is on next Tue but I already feel festive!!!

100 days of pregnancy

HURRAY TODAY IS MY 100 DAYS OF PREGNANCY!!!!!

I find that I look a bit older, some fine lines on my forehead and under eyes... Hope it is just an illusion...

Lanterns

Lucas had already got 3 lanterns - 1 from my mom and 2 from Jeff's mom.

Frankly, one kid only needs one lantern, I do hope to donate two to some charity or orphanage, I think many poor children are wising to receive one.

Sometimes I do think we give too much to babies. Once you have too much, you will not treasure what you have. This is a simple economics theory.

He shouldn't be a shopping mall baby

This weekend, we planned to go beach or country park with Long Long, he is an outdoor boy, he loves tree and sunshine.

However, I started to wonder if Hong Kong is still a nice habitat for human... the air is seriously polluted, a layer of supending particles blocks our vision. What you can see is grey colour.

Since I am having blocking nose and sore throat, and Jeffrey uses to have allergic nose, we felt extremely unbearable.

On Saturday, we had a bus tour with baby, we didn't drive to reduce the emission of gas. We know that it helps just extremely small, but at least we try to save our environment.

Long Long was very exciting and felt asleep in the bus when we were commuting to Causeway Bay. Well, you can imagine how polluted it was.

Luckily we all did not faint in the smog, but we did not dare to go Victoria Park, we only stayed in shopping mall.

Sigh~~ where is our blue sky??

Hope the weather will be getting better next week.

Take turns

Someone compliant that I have not not updated Manki's Matrix for a long time, but he forgets he is also one of the authors of this blog, supposingly.

Well, Lucas and us had great time last week, but was sick since last Sunday. He got cough at first, and then fever for a few days. Luckily he recovers so well and the high temperature has gone.

This morning he was in very good mood and made funny faces to me. I don't know why he picks all those interesting facial expressions suddenly. Someone says kids grow much faster when they are sick. It sounds very contradicting, but just imagine, once a person has gone through some difficulties, he made some breakthrough and will become a bit different.

The theory seems unconvincing but quite makes sense to me, haha!

Well, it's my turn to have running nose, arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Did I tell you my taste changing dramatically during this pregnancy?

I love spicy food suddenly, this is what I seldom touched before...

My most favourite soup is spicy and sour soup, a very popular soup in Northern China.

Most of my friend bet that I will have a baby girl this time, then, logically, my new baby will be a spice girl.

Well, nowadays girls have to be a bit spicy to survive in this brutal world. A little bit is okay, too much will become bitchy. Although most successful women especially in career place are extremely bitchy, I still believe being a gentle and wise lady is smarter.

Energizer Bunny

Didn't know where the strength came from, last Sunday we went to many places with Lucas in one day. Here is our route:

10:40am From home to Shatin for my violin lesson
12:00noon From Shatin to Victoria Peak, to experience the polluted air in this most crowded Causeway Bay
2:00pm Lunch in a CWB local noodle food stall, yummy.
3:00pm From CWB to Cyberport, left a high density place to a low density place.
6:00pm From Cyberport to Pacific Place, Admiralty for dinner
8:15pm From Admiralty back home

Lucas was maintaining in natural high status for the whole day, until 11:30pm that night, with the new toy bus we bought for him that day.

小小的改變

今夜我跟謝菲談天時，回想起我成為朗朗媽媽的一個小改變，就是不再常做惡夢。

謝菲更跟我說，我現在的甜夢很多是有關朗朗，不過惡夢仍然大多圍繞工作。

他如何知道？從我的夢囈得知......在夢中我曾經很温柔喚著朗朗，又試過惡形惡相地解釋report不能從做的原因。

相信Sigmund Freud的信徒可以為我作大量心理分析。

What I want to do today?

What I wanna do in office are:

1. Sleeping
2. Sneaking back home
3. Throw up the Korean lunch set I bought back and ate alone inside my 1m x 1m cubicle.

Poorly, all three things cannot be done before I stepped my feet in home. What I vomited in office toilet is just air.

Interesting!!! A really great highlight on Monday.

Spending a whole night with Lucas

Last night Lucas rushed to our room after his late night milk. Jeff carried him onto our bed and asked whether he wanted to stay with us.

Then this little baby lied down immediately between us.

We brought him his little pillow, cushions and blanket, then he slept quietly with us... until 2 something in the midnight.

Then he crawled between us restlessly, kept changing positions and poses the whole night.

We couldn't sleep thoroughly, but when I looked at this little angel sleeping carefree and peacefully, I smiled gently and kissed his chubby little cheek.

Morning Sickness at night

Last night, I had no appetite for a proper dinner, I had just swallowed 3/4 of a hamburger, and a bunch of french fries.

Then I threw up half of the french fries afterward.

Then I felt extremely thirsty during sleep, and also woke up to have bathroom visit for several time. Not to mention some nightmares came as a package.

A headache since last evening still accompanies me today. Thanks morning sickness, you 'brighten' my life.

Ahhhhhhhh.....

Fatigue

Thanks Jeff for sending this announcement.

Frankly, these first few week is pretty suffering. I experience morning sickness (a misleading term, because the sickness can happen any moment, like what in my case right now), nausea and sore bones.

I guess I had lost several pounds, thanks to the pregnancy in these weeks.

Every morning, I want someone sticks me on the bed then I can call my office that I cannot go for work for this reason.

At one moment, I am starving, but in the next moment, I feel full and want to throw up.

Yawning is the most frequent action I take everyday, apart from breathing.

Usually, all these symptoms will only exist in the first 12 weeks for pregnancy, I am in the 9th week, still have 3 weeks to go.....

Frankly, I do not even have strength to take bath, not to mention to do all those reporting, presentation and analyzing data? Even myself is skeptical about my work quality, in such condition.

Gosh, Jelly just informed we have a new project for several countries, thanks God!!!!!

Happy moment with Lucas

Every morning, Lucas wakes up around 8 something, I let him sit on my laps, and shares my breakfast when I groom up myself in front of the beauty parlor.

He then eats a piece of bread with satisfaction, with a light grin across his chubby face, playing the stuff on my desk, then watching the news on TV, and smiles to those pretty anchors because he thinks the girls are talking to him.

This is the happy moment for me every morning. The drive for me to face everyday challenge.
